This evening when my fiance and I dined in we had a very nice waitress who came over quite often. She came over to ask if we... wanted dessert twice, once just after she had dropped off our dinners and we had only taken a couple bites. She came over somany times to ask how our food was and if we wanted refills; we were only in there around 30 minutes...most places hardly checkon you at all so it wasn't awful. Unfortunately my fiancé's burnt ends had no flavor. It's just our humble opinion that youshouldn't have to drown your bbq in sauce for flavor. The cole slaw serving was extremely small for almost $3 dollars. Rememberthe old small black containers you would put your rolls of film into before taking in to get developed; the serving size is abit bigger than those containers. I wish I had taken a picture. I liked that they had a container of sanatizer on each table.However both booths we wanted to sit at the tables and seats were visibly dirty though when we walked in and sat down there wasnoone in the restaurant area. My family and I, love the fried mushrooms! This time, we ordered The Piggyback Combo, an all meats sampler. The ribs had a great... flavor, but lacking the meat. The ham was just good ham. The pork loin was tender, but just good. The turkey was just slicedturkey, nothing special. And the brisket...it was delicious. The BBQ sauces were very good. One smoky and sweet and the spicyBBQ wasnt REAL spicy, but snuck up on you. I've eaten here several times and Will continue to eat here. Read more
