We went on a Friday in July. It was very busy and I had hungry kids with me so we compromised and sat inside. Wait even for... inside was about 20 minutes. Server was friendly and attentive. We had Maine lobster, steak and shrimp. Food was delicious anddrinks were great. Fantastic view. Taking one star off because the AC inside was inadequate and it was horrendously hot inside.I also felt it was a bit overpriced. Easily over $200 dinner for an adult and three kids. All I can say is wow! A 5 star restaurant review is a high bar for me. Ropewalk executed everything flawlessly for both of my... visits. Service was expedient from seating to ordering to delivery of food. The food and beverages are prepared to perfection.I highly recommend the NY strip steak which was cooked perfectly to med rare. The smoked wings are also some of the best wingsI have ever had and fall off the bone. The ambiance and live music on the water is another benefit that I have not seenanywhere else in Chincoteague. Ropewalk has become my new favorite establishment in the area! This is also a great place towatch and take pictures of the sunset with the family as you eat dinner. Read more

Came here for lunch. Excellent food, good quality, fresh ingredients, food well presented and friendly staff. The sand area with... the picnic tables near the water is excellent for its view and atmosphere. Would recommend and would eat here again 5 starsexperience for me. Read more
