Caleb deserves a new Star and a raise. ? My son was driving home for Summer break to Baltimore, MD after freshman year at UTK.... He'd planned to spend the night with family half way, and text them asking their CB order. Of course, after moving things intostorage, packing his truck, and hours of driving he was exhausted. He pulled off the highway and slept.. I could see he wasback on the road again, but I couldn't get through to him due to call block while driving, (now fixed). We worried he wouldn'tmake it before they locked the door. We called CB, s/w Caleb, explained the situation, he was very patient and understanding. He said he'd be there and would let him in. I tried to complete the order through the app, it wasn't working, I called back..he explained it was because they were out of several things near closing. By the time I changed the order, and tried to submitpayment, it wouldn't accept it.. Too late for online orders.. Caleb took the order anyway for the intention of my son to paywhen he arrived.. Moral of the story, Caleb left a lasting impression as the face of the Christiansburg, VA Cracker Barrellocation. We were blessed to meet him today on our way back to Maryland (dinner was delicious) after getting our son back to UTKfor his Sophomore Year. Always a solid choice for a good brekky. Stopped here on the way home from an early hospital visit and, as will all Cracker... Barrels, I got exactly what I expected. Good food, good service, and overall busy atmosphere. I don't think I've ever been toa non-busy Cracker Barrel but the staff always does a great job keeping understanding people happy. I had my go-to Grandpa'sCountry Fried Breakfast and my son had the Stuffed Cheesecake Pancake Breakfast (he just had a minor surgery so I let him go allout after not eating for over 12 hours). The country fried breakfast was very good and the stuffed cheesecake pancake was waytoo sweet for my liking but my son loved it. Read more
My friend Russell took me to lunch at the Cracker Barrel. So delicious! I had the special and it was meatloaf, a sweet potato,... okra and fresh biscuits. Everybody knows have good their food is. I live in Roanoke but went to Christiansburg for breakfast. The ordered my usual, grandmas breakfast. When she brought it and... sat it on the table I couldn't help but laugh at first. I see these two little pancakes that look like they came off the kidsmenu, 2 little silver dollar pancakes. I asked her if she was joking and she had the nerve to say that's how they make themnow. I knew that wasn't the truth but I left it alone. I love the hashbrowns, my favorite but they were burned on the bottom. Waitress was not very friendly at all. Read more
