Great dining experience. The pumpkin soup was wonderful as was the shrimp and mashed potatoes. We will return for many special... occasions. Read more

Delicious food. Caring & conscious servers, howeverthey were shortstaffed and it showed. The building is getting run-down:... Broken wall-sconces, peeling wallpaper, broken light bulbs. Music played over speakers did not add to the ambiance. The soundwas tinny and echoed. Rock music doesn't match the decor or the clientele. Children stomping around on the second floor alsodoesn't add to the experience. More attention to the ambiance to match the quality of the food should get things back on track. Read more

My wife, myself and another couple. We all had different entrees and we were all very pleased with our meals. Contrary to the... review I read concerning the crab encrusted grouper, mine was delicious. Beautiful white mild fish with a very generous portionof lump crab meat on top. The vegetables were also very well done. Worthy of five to six out of six stars, not the three I readabout. Actually, the review I read didn’t seem genuine to me, but more of someone who wanted to complain for the sake of herego. We all had a great time and truly enjoyed all of our food, from the warm bread to dessert. Read more

We enjoyed a very nice meal at the Summit Restaurant. We had eaten there years ago and wanted to come back as we'd had a good... experience. We were not disappointed. The setting is lovely inside an old house perched on a hilltop. We ate outside on theporch as the temperature was perfect. We had crabcakes, rutabaga soup, Caesar salad, house salad, veal Stroganoff, the Doumbekportobello mushrooms stack, key lime pie and crème brûlée. Everything was very tasty. A few suggestions for the chef ofimprovements that could be made: Caesar dressing lacked anchovy taste. For the "basil feta" salad dressing, for some reason, Iwas expecting fresh basil, but it was just a bit of dried basil in an Italian style dressing. The polenta served with themushrooms was somewhat dried out. The raspberry sauce on the key lime pie overpowered and distracted from the key lime taste. And the crème brûlée needs more vanilla flavor. Service was flawless, and we would eat there again next time we are in town. Read more

I had a wonderful evening at Summit Restaurant! We sat outside on the porch where there was a lovely light breeze. Matt, our... server, was wonderful...pleasant, timely & helpful. The food was delicious! I especially loved the thin baked carrot slices! They were crispy and lightly sweet. It was all so good! I took my Mom and Dad out for Mother's Day/Father's Day treat & theyreally enjoyed themselves. Thank you! Read more
