We were visiting from out of town, and this restaurant was given as a recommendation from someone. First, we were told we could... not be seated outside, yet in the middle of our meal they started seating people outside on the patio, and we also weren'tallowed to pull 2 tables together to accommodate our family. It took over 20 minutes for regular beverages, and over 30 for 2alcoholic beverages, but there was no one at the bar. Overall, it took almost 2 hours, and they honestly were not very busy atthe time. In fact, the server stated that we came at the perfect time, as in an hour, and a half they'd have an hour+wait to beseated. The server was very impatient, never gave us time to ask for anything, and never even checked on us after we receivedour meal. We were missing sauces, which we ended up eating without, because we never had a chance to ask for them. The portionsfor the sides were all over the place. A children's meal had more onion rings than an adults, and another child's onion ringsonly had a few. The sides were also cold. I will say the burgers everyone got were delicious, and the fresh fish wasphenomenal. That's the only reason it's getting the stars it is. Read more
Delicious, was in the Munising area and wasn't too thrilled about the options to eat there so made the short trek here. I... ordered the 36 oz. Bone-In steak and it was perfectly cooked (Medium). It took awhile but they told me in advance that it takes45 minutes to cook a cut that big, but well worth the wait. Drinks were delicious, my wife even complimented the bartender onthe long island after the 1st one, know that's saying something... If you're in the area, you can't go wrong.... stop in. Read more
Food was good service needs help. Took 1 hr 20 min to get our food. Our server told us our food would be up and 45 min later... it came. It's hard not to be upset when you see tables eating when the parties came in AFTER you! Read more
Oh my! if you are in the area I suggest you eat here if you like steaks! They are huge, and so good! Pricey a little but so... worth it! I guess at certain times you can actually grill your own too, but we were there when that grill (inside grill) wasnot going. Plus I would rather when eating at a restaurant have someone else cook for me anyway! Part of the reason I go! ButI can see how that would/might be fun with a group of friends/family. I ate the tenderloin and hubby got the New your strip. Both were fantastic! The bake potato that came out with mine was so small, and the bread was over cooked, but the waitressasked for a replacements and it was done just fine. So if something is not right, it was no issue. A must-try if you?re ever near Christmas, MI. Foggy?s is usually pretty busy, but I never have an issue getting a table. I make... it a point to stop here every time I?m in the area. Their steak is perfectly done (& made on a giant indoor grill - so cool!).Their salads are on point. We also had a brandy old fashioned sweet. They actually muddle their fruit (a tradition in a true oldfashioned). The atmosphere is kind of loud, but it?s due to their popularity. Definitely come here for a delicious meal! Read more
