Floors felt sticky to walk on, odd smell in the air. Would give zero stars if possible, but chose 1 star for friendly staff.... Table and chair also felt sticky and saw weird drips that looks like they could've been drinks that were spilled at one time,but never cleaned, so it accumulated under the table edges. Food presentation could be better. Not family friendly: saw someinstallations that seem catered to kids but a few do not work at all. Most of the handles felt sticky and in a time when COVIDis still somewhat present, is concerning. Also saw lottery machines so if that's what you're looking for, then that's the placeto go watch sport and grab a ticket or two. For me, I wouldn't NEVER go there again. Read more
Sunday football made it busy, but we were still able to get a table for a quick bite to eat. There was no hostess up front and... sign saying for pick up orders to see the bartender, but we waited and waited to be seated. Finally an employee saw us and toldus we could sit wherever we wanted. It would be nice if they just added "seat yourself" to the signage so you don't spent 15minutes waiting in the lobby. Our server was pretty good. It took a while to get our food, but that's expected with shortstaffing and Sundays which are busy. However, our food was pretty cold when it arrived. I had the mac and cheese and BBQ portsliders - both were not even room temp, but actually COLD. I was so disappointed with this, I'm not sure if it wasn't heatedproperly to start with or if it had sat for a bit before the server brought it out. Not sure we will be back for a while. Read more
Sunday during football games bar was crowded but not enough to pacify the lack of service. Took forever to order drinks, food... and checkout. Also multiple tv's off. Haven't been there since last fall but service this year was definitely lacking. Food anddrinks were still great though. Read more
When we first walked in we stood there waiting for someone to take us to a seat. We waited about 5 minutes, until a customer... actually told us we could sit where ever we wanted. Never been to this restaurant before we didn?t know, as there was a counteras you walked through the door. We were waited on for food and drink order almost without a problem. Out of one of the beers weordered! We waited over 45 minutes for our food, as we were almost ready to walk out. There were only approximately 8 peoplesitting at the bar. Received our food with no silverware! Waitress said she was going to go get us some but started wiping downtables and forgot. I feel as if she was ?on something?. Had to go to the bar and get some. Which also took a long time because Ibelieve we weren?t a ?regular? customer so she ignored us at the bar waiting. Our food was cold and not very good. Needless tosay we were tired and hungry from spending all at Kings Island and just wanted some good food! It was around 10:20 when we gotthere, and they didn?t close until 1:00am so it wasn?t like we were getting there terribly late! It comes down to extremelypoor service and not the greatest food! Our experience was very similar to several other reviewers here. We visited on a Friday afternoon around 3:30. We walked in and... stood at the entrance unacknowledged for a decent amount of time before a customer at the bar told us to just take a seatwherever we wanted. There was only 1 other table of people eating and a few people at the bar. Our server was also thebartender, which led to a lack of service due to her taking care of everyone at the bar. We ordered 20 wings with garlicparmesan sauce. We waited over 45 minutes for our food to be served, and when we finally did receive it, there was no sauce-justa dusting of parmesan cheese. The wings themselves were still good, but this visit overall was very disappointing. We have beento Fricker's many times in Dayton and have always had a good experience.
