Update 8/30/22....this review is based on today's visit only. Tues evening, got seated right away. Our order was taken and food... started arriving. Unfortunately, today the steaks were Dry! Literally, not even a grease slick on the plate! Usually, theservice crew offer steak sauce, but no one came back to table once the meals were served. When we were done, we got a box andthe bill. Original review: Texas Roadhouse is a fun-place steakhouse. The atmosphere can be loud, but it's diners enjoyingthemselves, and the occasional birthday song! The bar area has big screens with sports playing. The food and drink menus have agood variety of steakhouse options. I saved the Best Part for last.....the rolls! They are soft, fluffy, sweet bread and comewith the Most Delicious whipped cinnamon, honey butter! They are like a dinner donut!!! Read more
The wait to seat was just 10 minutes. Our waiter, Khris was very friendly and came to greet us pretty quickly. He got us dunks... and took our order as expected. The salads were delivered within 5 minutes and two minutes later our entrees were too. Thesalads were good and they come with chopped egg. For some reason, adding chopped egg to a salad just makes it feel like afancier salad. The meats were good, but the chicken tenders were dry. My wife enjoyed the loaded mashed potatoes. I thought thesteamed veggies were very overcooked. I was going to mark them down for the poor quality of the vegetables but we got a Countryfried sirloin, chicken tenders, and ribs in under 10 minutes of the order going in. Pretty damn fast. The absolute best place to eat , we had Jake as our server in citrus heights he was beyond friendly, fast & attentive even tho... it was Father's day & crowded our getting seated to time off food being put on table was in a flash fast, 4 of us ate for 150dollars & we were stuffed with left overs, the pictures show the stuffed sweet potato , fried pickles & stuffed potato skins, 1son had pull pork dinner, the other had a fried steak &fries & dad had a huge rib eye mashed potatoes & veggies & I had a hugechicken salad so delicious & endless rolls with the cinnamon butter, 1 son had the brownie Sunday for dessert. Love the food and drinks here! Steak was cooked exactly how I asked and the mashed potatoes were really good. The firecracker... shrimp had a great sauce. I could have gone for spicier but that's just me. Would still order again! The service is great. Ourwaiter checked on us throughout our meal and was very helpful. Every time I've come, I had wonderful service and the food isalways good. Read more

Food was amazing even if high priced! Blonde server guy was horrible with customer service. Downright rude at times. We had to... repeatedly ask for refills on drinks, and then would have to call somebody to pick up trash and refuse off the table. neverwhere we asked if we wanted dessert or to go containers, and on top of everything flagging down a employee was very difficult,even though we would say hey repeatedly and even make hand motions. We felt ignored very much of the time. Also looking aroundthe restaurant, we were the only colored folk there so of course we questioned if that had something to do with it. Nor did wesee any black staff. So the isolation and being ignored made us really feel out of place there. After spending nearly $200 forthree black men to eat, we were sadly disappointed with our experience. Read more
