A notch above many conveyor belt sushi places. Quite a wide variety of choices with friendly staff. Good value for what you get.

My friend and I went for a quick lunch at this place. We were very pleased. The staff was polite and attentive, and accepted... the order quickly and received the order quickly. Sushi is delicious and fresh. A large number of choices on the ribbon and inthe menu. We will definitely visit this place again. Thanks. Read more

TERRIBLE. Do not go! Go to Akira instead!!! I use to go here a couple times a week around 7 years ago. It use to be so packed... you'd be waiting for a seat for a while in the afternoon. Place is usually empty all day long now. Ownership changed. Priceshave doubled, portions have decreased, quality is terrible. I love anything salmon, especially the nigiri, and the salmon doesnot taste like salmon, it's thin and it tears apart. I will NEVER go here again. Read more

Update 12/10/18 We don?t want to come back for a long time... There is no quality control here... too much sushi on the belt... that is either old or not tasty. This place needs Gordon Ramsey and to shut down the kitchen and RE-TRAIN the entire managementand staff. Update 10/18/18 Getting better and better. Just don?t raise prices, this company reputation isn?t in the positionto do so. The new manager and sushi chef are killin it To all the recent negative reviews, I been coming here since 2005 andHave seen different managers and servers/bussers. They have a entirely new staff and are really trying. If you don?t seeanything fresh you want, just ask politely for a new one. DuH! Update 09/08/18 Was impressed today with the quality ofsushi. It looks like the busses/servers and sushi cooks are working hard. We came about 80% full. I still think they areunderstaffed and need a full time cashier. The place feels a bit different in a good way. They still need to renovate and dustthe place. Sushi portions are bigger than most, if not all sushi places in SE pdx and happy valley. Still more affordable thanmost places. UPDATE 08/01/18 They have increased in price upwards of 100%!!! Fried calamari went from $1.50 to $3.00., SearedSalmon $1.50 to $3.00!! Before you increase price at least RENOVATE THE OLD PLACE! NEW STAFF AND MANAGEMENT, hopefully, thisplace gets better. Need more food quality control, some of the sushi on the conveyer belt are old. The fried calamari is stillthe Best, will be back later than sooner. *** Been coming here since 2005. The sushi is okay but I actually don?t come herefor the sushi as much as I do for the fried calamari. Sushi land makes the BEST fried calamari PERIOD Every other sushiestablishment has over-battered and greasy calamari that makes you bloated and gassy. However, recently there calamari has adifferent cut to it making them smaller. Still the BEST!! If they stop making their unique fried calamari Read more
