From the second I walked in I felt right at home. The staff was super friendly and hospitable. Genuine smiles and welcoming... words from everyone. When I thought it couldn't get better, I was served up the most delicious and authentic southern food I mayhave ever eaten in my 66 years of life. Seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. I had the salmon croquette which wasfantastic. Fried okra which my granny might have bowed down to. Green beans coudnt have been better. And a perfectly fried pieceof corn bread which had to have been born in a cast iron skillet. Finished it all off with some apple and cinnamon concoctionthat almost made me cry it was so good. I going back this Sunday for brunch on the word of a friend who said the chicken anddressing is literally the best he's ever had. Cant go wrong here..I promise. Read more

I just went here for the 1st time and I was thoroughly impressed. I met the owner who came to speak and between her and the... staff made me feel like i was visiting family. Great experience! I had the Marry Me Chicken Breast with Glazed Carrots and theMac N Cheese and it did not disappoint it was all delicious!! If your ever in Clanton, this is a must stop for Lunch!
