It's been several years since I've been to this Cracker Barrel, and my return was memorable for the wrong reasons. All of our... side dishes were lukewarm at best, and my guess is they were suttingbaround for a bit. For me, the catfish entree was a goodtemperature, but none of the sides were. Fried okra was rubbery, biscuits, greens and dumplings were all barely lukewarm. Iwasn't sure who to be upset with, the kitchen for the temperature issues or our server for bringing it to me. Our server, Jaxonwas friendly, got our order correct, and was being shadowed by a new employee. But ultimately he lost a star for serving thesides. Read more
Took my son her after his football game. Was told there was a 15 min wait but only took about 5. We sat outside on the rocking... chairs and we?re gonna play checkers but we?re called inside before we could play. There are probably 15 rocking chairs outsideif you have to wait. Ordered immediately when we were seated. I got the cheesecake pancake meal with scrambled eggs and chickensausage. Added hash brown casserole on the side. My son was basic and ordered the pancakes bacon and hard fried eggs. When thefood came out, the only issue was his eggs were runny. Waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Another 10 minutes for waitress, out of a lot of items. Food takes 15 minutes. Plastic... wrap baked in food, more specifically the mac and cheese. A kid could have choked on it and died, I choked on it for godsakes!20 minutes for a manager to come to the table.
