Great food and chill vibes at this restaurant in downtown clawson. Was our first time for brunch and the hostess was kind enough... to accommodate us with outdoor seating. Food is at a perfect price point for the amount, quality and the variety served. Willdefinitely be coming back again! Read more
Shop and eat This transformed movie theater is greatly decorated and turned into a restaurant. You have to check out the new... uses for the carnival rides.. There is also a shop, many cards and unique finds. I went in to shop but it was odd to shop aroundthe perimeter while people were trying to eat. It made me feel like I was invading their space. Went here to celebrate a birthday and had a fabulous afternoon! We got a soup sampler with butternut squash soup, tomato bisque,... and mushroom stew! Each one was uniquely flavorful and I easily could have eaten an entire bowl of each! The next course was acaprese salad with grilled chicken on the side, it was so fresh and beautifully prepared! Last but certainly not least, we hadthe turtle cheesecake which was to die for! All of this wonderful food with a bottle of wine, and we even got to meet the owner!Will definitely be coming back! Attention to detail in a unique old bazaar. Some creepy possessed looking circus banners hang from the ceiling, as do a few... chandeliers. Roller skates with flowers on table tops. Real candles. Vibey yet a little creepy music plays inside. The food?It's perfect. Burger quality is top notch without the extras you don't want anyway. Flavor is great in the paillard of Chicken.Cocktails are fantastic. Service from Jim was so splendid. Making us feel special. My biggest let down was paying 15 dollars fora piece of cheese cake at the end- it was great, but maybe worth around the 7 dollar amount. Although my guard was up when Ifirst arrived. Nice lunch there with the folks. I had the Hen Pecked (photos here), and family had the Caprese and Spicy Honey chicken. We... all thought our sandwiches were good. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting - and not too loud! Thewaitress had a soft voice, but tried to speak up for my hard of hearing family.
