I've lived in Clayton for 2 years, and finally tried birria tacos for the first time at El Patron. Holy smokes it's good!!! I've... lived in Texas, Colorado, and California, and these might be the best tacos I've ever had. So savory and full of flavor! Ididn't try and agua fresca, but the horchata was delicious. The staff was really kind. There was active cleaning of the restaurant, which was nice to see. Tacos were out of the park... amazing!!! I would not recommend getting the chips and queso, they were basically stadium nachos (processed cheese and chips). Read more
I am from Los Angeles, California and this is the best tacos I have had since I moved to North Carolina 6 years ago. Their other... locations are ok but the Clayton location has the older crew that knows how to serve up some fantastic tacos. Best location outof the chain. Read more
Quesabirria tacos were the best I ever had!!! Definitely the California taco spot vibe. Did not disappoint ????????
