Absolutely compelled to review! First time visiting Red Beards, ordered Bad Breath brisket sandwich. Incredible! Rich flavor and... overloaded with tender meat! Visiting Red Beards will definitely be a new Friday tradition. Read more

Some of the crazy creations they come up with are a bit much? like a burger I had that had, ground beef, sausage, bacon, pulled... pork, brisket and the buns were donuts ???? almost killed me. ???? But I?d do it again! ???? maybe not that specific dish. Allthe other dishes here are incredible. Read more

This is the best BBQ place in Utah. Only open Friday - but you can makeup an event to have them cater. ????

This was stop 5 on our Ogden barbecue tour. Easily the best barbecue I had in the entire area. The brisket was juicy, tender... and falling apart. The beans were sweet, the cornbread was so flavorful and the pulled pork was like butter. They give you a tonof food and it's well worth your money. My only complaint would be that you have to ask specifically for sauce, and then theyonly give you a tiny cup of it. Really BBQ joints have the sauce bottles out on the table. Regardless, I'll be returning heresoon to try their mac and cheese and other sides and meats. Read more

My two favorite dishes here are loaded mac and cheese and loaded mashed potatoes. My third favorite dish is there loaded nachos.... The only time I ever get the nachos is when I've arrived too late and they've already sold out of the potatoes or Mac andcheese. The portion sizes are huge and I rarely can finish the dish in one sitting. I don't like that they're only open onfridays. I wish I had a better way to track where there food truck is so I can visit them during the week. Read more

I have very high standards for American barbeque after living in the south, so it has been a real struggle to find anything I... really enjoy in Utah. Red Beard stands out as one of the better places to get good BBQ in the area. The quality that stands outthe most is how tender their meats are. It is a little fattier than I prefer, but this does translate into very juicy andflavorful meat, so I could argue that the extra fat content is a fair trade off and would be enjoyed by most. Great spot to eatwith very short hours of operation (10:00 - 15:00 at the time of writing, Fridays only). Try to get there early because theysell out of items quickly. Read more

I finally got a chance to try this place and it did not disappoint. This is by far the best bbq place in Utah. I got the 3 meat... plate with Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Ribs. I got the jalapeño creamed corn and banana pudding for the sides. It also came with2 slices of cornbread. Easily enough food for two people. Everything was absolutely amazing with the pulled pork and ribs beingthe highlight for me. Pulled pork was tender, juicy and flavorful even without any sauce. The ribs were amazingly tender andfull of flavor. They?re only open on Fridays from 10a until they sell out. So if you?re up by the Freeport Center on a Friday, check this place out. Read more
