Love shopping at Ingles. The store is always clean, well stocked, well lit, good prices and helpful, friendly employees!
I usually have pretty good experiences with Ingles when I'm on trips in north Georgia and western North Carolina, but yesterday... morning in Cleveland was kind of a dud. I went in and had to go to the bathroom, seeing I was traveling, but the men's restroomwas closed for cleaning. Oh, well. ??????? I wanted donuts for the road, but they were out of boxes for self-serve, just had thebags, which are awful and mush up the donuts. Oh, well, again. ??????? But I got them, and when I went to eat one in my car,there was a long light brown hair when I took my first bite. Ugh. I lost my appetite and tossed the donuts. Customer service good. Canned goods passed exp.date. Fresh produce is subpar. Lettuce is horrible!! Now I know why everyone goes... all the way to gainesville's Kroger to shop. Ingle's, please check on who your supplier is for your lettuce.They are shortchanging you big time! The prepackaged sealed lettuce you are getting appears ok on outside but rotten on the inside when youget to the inner leaves. Please improve this as some of us would like to eat healthy! Thanks!
