Had a 4pm dinner reservation. Service was excellent. We had an egg roll special as an appetizer and I am glad we got it! My wife... had their chicken paprikash and I had their sausage platter with home fries. Both entrees tasted like Bavarian heaven. Do checkout thier import store once you are done with your meal. Disappointing meal there tonight. We?ve eaten there before and enjoyed it but it was off tonight. Out of all the appetizers but... we were told they had a duck breast app so we ordered that. The check came and we were charged for the beef carpaccio and weregiven no explanation for that. They switched our sides as well. The house salad was lettuce with a couple of cherry tomatoes. Iordered the Jaegerschnitzel. It was a plain unbreaded cutlet. I know schnitzel is a essentially a meat cutlet but in all myyears of eating Jaegerschnitzel in Cleveland and beyond, I?ve never had an unbreaded jaegerschnitzel. I was told that?s how theydo it there and the other schnitzels on the menu are breaded, but that?s not apparent from the menu description. I mentionedthat they should note this in the menu. Read more
I went into the import side for groceries, but saw sadly the kitchen at Hansa Brewery is currently closed because they can't get... anyone to cook. That's very sad because they have wonderful food normally. Hopefully they will return to full food service soon. Read more
I visited this place in Thursday at 6 pm. Michael was alone. He did his best. But? I ordered just simple sausage plate. And I... got it in? 50 (fifty!!!) minutes! It?s impossible. I will highly NOT recommend this place. PS: sausage plate was excluded ofsauerkraut (was in the menu) Read more
