Me and 1 of my best girlfriends went here to celebrate my birthday. Roger (1 of the GM's) was very friendly. He came over to... ensure our experience was okay and even gave us a dessert on the house. Our waitress Oriana was nice and offered suggestions onwhat to order. We ordered Hit Different cocktail which were strong and tasty. We both got the salmon, which was cooked toperfection. Our appetizers (steak egg rolls and deviled eggs) were delicious. We came on jazz night and the band was outstandingand played a good variety of songs. The crowd was also mixed which was nice. My only negative aspect would be the wait time toreceive our food but the music made it not seem so long. I have already recommended this place to a few people. Oh yeah and it'sblack owned also! Overall the food was ok. I had the fried green tomatoes, they weren’t seasoned good(but they did look seasoned), they were hot... and fresh though! We had the creole pasta, I was disappointed because although it tasted pretty good, it was cool(temperaturewise) and for $22 it should be hot not warm or cool. Taste wise it wasn’t spicy or Cajun which I wasn’t expecting. Ihonestly think they forgot to bring our food out because the waitress brought it out right after asking the other lady thatbrings food out where our order was, so it was probably sitting up. We also had the jambalaya. It was spicy and pretty good, thesauce kind of tasted like ravioli. Overall, it’s too expensive for the food not to be delicious. Oh and customer service wasgreat! It started off a little shaky, but I think there was an incident with another party right as we arrived but after thatthe customer service was great. Read more

Turned up and after a 5 minute wait were seated in a comfortable booth in the bar area. Atmosphere was quiet but nice. Baring in... mind we ate earlier than usual around 5. It was restaurant week so gave this place a shot! We had a wonderful server she wasincredibly nice and very patient with our questions. The cocktails we ordered were very slow and the food coming out was too. That aside the food was excellent and worth the wait. The beer on tap choices were disappointing too however. To sum up, anexcellent choice for excellent food, but you will have to wait abit. Read more

This is a first and last visit for me! Attended a birthday brunch for a friend! Let me start by saying, our waiter was super... nice and attentive and the only reason for the 1 of the stars given. We started with drinks of course and ordered theBottomless Mimosa (not pictured), Bubbles on Bourbon (red-ish/pink drink below) which is super cute but had no flavorwhat-so-ever, Miss Nola (the yellow-ish drink below) which my friend said was simply just okay, and the Creole Island (the peachdrink below) which my other friend said was sweet and strong. For apps we ordered the Creole wings (pictured below) which weresent back due to not being cooked all the way, they definitely had pink inside. The Fried Green Tomatoes (also below) which werereally good! The Spinach Dip (also below) was good, a bit salty but good. However, the tortilla chips were not fried long enoughand they were super soft. As well as the Crab Cake (not pictured) but my friend said was very tasty. The apps were the reason Igave the second star. Now for our entrees……where do I even begin. Well, the Catfish and Grits were sent back (picturedbelow). The catfish was emerged in the grits making it very very very soggy. Not a fan of soggy food especially fried catfish. And the grits were mushy. Next, again the chicken from the Chicken and Waffles had to be sent back because the chicken was notcooked through and was pink inside. The potatoes were edible and the fries tasted frozen and everything seemed to be seasonedwith old bay. No good flavor in any of the dishes. For the price of the food, I really expected more. I left HUNGRY and verydisappointed. We were also asked to bring cash to pay four separate bills as one. This is a huge inconvenience. Read more

Visit: April 24, 2022 Reservation for 10 people Seating: Inside Cons: Hot mimosas (needed to ask for ice). When we received our... food (we were told-after ordering-the kitchen was behind about an hour and a half) 80% of the table's orders were incorrectand/or undercooked. I ordered the Catfish and Grits and experienced food positioning symptoms the next morning. The catfishitself was okay and barely room temperature. The breading was somewhat crispy (it was probably sitting on the grits for awhile). The grits themselves were thick and needed a lot of seasoning. While we waited for mimosas and appetizers, I noticed ittook almost 2 hours for staff to clean a table after the previous patrons left. Additionally the food runners were consistentlybringing dishes back to the kitchen (wrong orders more than likely). I even saw staff eating and drinking in the kitchen andamongst guests. The atmosphere itself did not embody anything Creole (music or decor). I don't believe this restaurant will behere long (like previous businesses). Pros: The hostess checked on us regularly to make sure we received everything we needed(not our server). The cook came out to bring corrected/new dishes to the table Read more
