With over 1000 reviews and 4.5 rating, how can it go wrong? Well, it really did. Like the restaurants in the area, at the first... glance, Taza is on par with the rest. The sitting was roomy, with a high ceiling in the middle, although the fabric of the benchseat has a weird touch. Our server was friendly, but with a large table that came after us, her attention was not able to keepup. Since we're not needy people, we can live with that. Then came the bread and appetizer, not bad. We ordered a mixed grill, atuna dish and a falafel salad. The salad was ok, but the two main entrees were a real disappointment. All 3 kinds of meat areover cooked, and Ahi Tuna, hard as a brick and tasted like cardboard. The last time I had tuna cooked this badly must have been20+ years ago. If you are running a fine dining restaurant and your staff doesn't know how to cook tuna properly, you shouldjust keep it off the menu instead of wasting customers' money. At almost $40 per person, without drink or alcohol, this wastotally not worth it. Maybe I just didn't order the right dishes, but I really have no desire of going back. Read more

A wonderful Lebanese grill with a varied and authentic selection of meals, up to and including Lebanese lager. The atmosphere... is unfussy yet upscale. Prices are more than reasonable, and both the food and service (thanks Anthony!) are top notch. There'sindoor table service and a bar and, although I saw some tables outside I don't know if they are available. I got the Tazasampler with a bit of everything, but I'm more than tempted to try the kebabs next time. All in all, a wonderful place! Read more

Decided to give this place a try after seeing all the good reviews online and we were not disappointed. Our server was friendly... and knowledgeable. She actually helped us make a selection that would basically let us try as many different items as possible.Everything we tried (which was a lot) tasted fresh and the temperatures of the different meats were cooked as requested. I'm notan expert on lebanese flavors, so I'm not sure how authentic the food actually is but we really loved everything we tried! Read more

On a business trip to Cleveland looking for a place for dinner we came across this place which was walking distance from our... hotel. A nicely appointed Lebanese restaurant with great authentic food. I would typically give this restaurant 4 stars which isusually the top of the mark for me, however Meredith our server elevated it to 5 stars! Great attentive service with eye contactand very friendly and warm demeanor. We eneded up with a lot of leftovers and since we were on a business trip we couldn't takeany home, she politely asked if she can box them and donate them to the homeless. What a refreshing thought and approach. Sheconsented for her picture to be shared but wanted to make sure that it is known that the picture is taken after a hard day'swork. Read more

Staff was friendly. The bread that comes with your meal is absolutely delicious. My husband had the beef schwarma pita and... really enjoyed it. He did not enjoy the fries that came with it though. They had way too much seasoning on them and were cold.My older stepson had the grilled chicken kids meal with rice and ate pretty much all of his food. I had the tomato couscoussoup with chicken and enjoyed mine. However, there was not much couscous in the soup. My youngest stepson did not enjoy his mealat all. He had the grilled cheese on pita off of the kids menu. It came out as just a pita with crumbled cheese on it… notmelted at all. His French fries were cold when they arrived. For an appetizer, we got the garlic labneh (pictured). For beingjust a dip, I feel as though $9.00 is a bit excessive to pay. They desribe the dip as being made from strained yogurt, garlic, adash of dry mint and olive oil. Overall, we enjoyed our meal, but definitely will not be getting the “grilled cheese” for mystepson the next time. Read more
