Found a penny in onion rings. When called to ask how a penny would wind up in our onion rings at the bottom of the bag. I got... told they need a receipt # to look at the camera. I tried to explain didn't have that and was told nothing they could say. Isaid we'll can't you look up the order it was like 10-15 minutes ago. They said no. Read more
The last time I was at a Steak 'n Shake was 2019. They changed the dine in option to ordering at the counter and seat yourself... like a Wendy's. Reduced menu selections. Manager was friendly and the staff in training did a good job at the counter. Read more
The charm of eating at Steak and Shake is gone now that there are no servers. We placed our order at the cash register and was... asked to give a tip before we even picked up our own food! What?! This place now works like typical fast food where tipping isnot required! Very put off by that. The fun in going to Steak and Shake is over. Won't go back till wait staff returns. Read more
