I went and had lunch at Olafs on a week day. I had their honey stinger chicken it was a fried chicken breast drizzled with a... yummy sweet sauce and it came with delicious crispy French fries. No soup! My wife's chicken was very salty. The ambiance was grand. Marco our waiter was fantastic and charming.
We've been wanting to eat at Olaf's for so long and I"m glad my wife made reservations because we really had a special... night. We stayed across the street at the Screen Door Inn so it was convenient to walk across. Jake the bartender makes somekiller drinks (and he likes to talk about fishing! Bonus). Blake was our server and the young made was just a real pleasure allevening. I had the New York Steak and my wife had the salmon and both were cooked perfectly and the grits were incredible. Wealso had some great live music by two gents on acoustic guitars. Wish I had gotten their names, but they were great and at theend of the evening, we bought them desserts. The chef also came out and brought us a free slice of "lemon feather" cake. Ithink that's what it was, but it was excellent. Just a great evening.
