This restaurant used to be wonderful; I've been coming here since I was a kid. Monicals is my number one favorite pizza ever. ... During Covid this restaurant, like so many others, decided to take advantage of a bad situation and drop menu items, includingthe AYCE salad bar for the lunch buffet. Fine.... but they didn't lower their prices to compensate for the loss of the saladbar. A tiny bowl of shredded lettuce and cheese was their idea of a salad. If you wanted more, it was an extra charge, but thesecond bowl, at least, had 3 spoiled tomato chunks on it. The people who are currently employed here are mostly all young kidswho could care less about customer service or doing their job well. Customers aren't supposed to get their own refills, butI've never had someone offer to get me a refill. It seems they're too busy checking social media on their phones in thekitchen to actually tend to the dining room.... I realized this whilst repeatedly getting my own refills because you can seeright into the kitchen from the soda fountain. And they expect a tip. For bringing me the first drink.... whoop. I did a lotmore than that at every job I've ever had and I didn't get tips. Hopefully the Clinton Monical's will someday be able to hiresome responsible adults as management. Please fix this, Clinton Monicals, you used to be so much better than this, you employedgenuinely helpful and kind people. Until then, I'm glad there are Monical's in other cities to visit. Picked up pizza after work. Tried the pan crust, really good. Pizza was hot and delicious ????
Monical's is one of the two best in town. Unfortunately I've always found the chain to be too expensive. I've never personally... ordered from any Monical's due to that fact. Read more
