Placed a take out order for two "custom made" grilled cheese sandwiches that used to be on their menu at Wrong Way Cafe (before... they merged over here), that have since been removed from the new menu here. They rolled their eyes and kind of whined about it,but did make the sandwiches. The food actually was pretty good for a local watering hole. However, I was charged almost $40 fortwo "custom made" grilled cheese sandwiches with sweet potato waffle fries (which are on the menu as sides). Ridiculous. Used tobe $27 at Wrong Way Cafe for the same meal. I guess I can thank our current inflation rate at almost 9% and looming food supplyshortages caused by failed democtat/liberal policies, making it extremely tough on small local businesses like the Simple ManSaloon. Good food, good prices and good people. Been a couple times now and will definitely be going back.
We went to Simple Man to watch a Patriots game. Most of the better viewing seat were occupied. We talked to Megan and she told... us that a table was about to about to become available and she would make sure we got it. We'll as soon as the folks leavingstood up another couple swooped in in. Megan kept her word. The waitress informed the folks that the table was already promisedto us. We were very impressed. In most places were there is not a hostess no one would care and take the time to follow up.Thank you Megan! We will be back on soon. Food was fabulous..Great place to watch a game!!
