Great community restaurant. I recommend the Blue Heron Chicken with baked potato and veggies. The carnitas tacos were good, not... super authentic but good. The starter bread and garlic butter was really good. We'll definitely be back. Read more
Was very disappointed when my friend and I arrived for the buffet dinner Saturday .I called earlier to make a reservation but... was told didn't need one so when we got there they said they were full but then said we can go to the bar and buy hotdogs for$3. So sad went to Chuckchansi had a great time instead. Read more
Awesome music with Executive Rockers! Had a great time! Update: Having visited this restaurant 4+ years now, we love the Blue... Heron and the bar/grill. If you are thinking of moving here this is a great place for dinner and a drink...and btw...thebruschetta is better here than many others if not all high end restaurants! Went the other night. I live in YLP and was burnt out on the Yosemite Grill. I decided to order from the Blue Heron. OMG it was... mouth watering! Chicken w shrooms in a wine sauce. So Yummy. We've gone to the Blue Heron for 4 years or so to celebrate birthdays, and to have dinner for no special occasion. We live in... Mariposa, CA, which requires an hour of driving to get there. But...it's worth it!! We've always had great food, wonderfulservice, and we enjoy the atmosphere. It's one of the few restaurants to have tablecloths and cloth napkins in the foothills,and the food is served with a pleasing visual experience. We'll continue to frequent this establishment.
