I went there at about 2 pm yesterday. I just ordered some food and the staff looked so rude and mad(her face was so serious and... grimaced) I still do not know why she was like that but it made my entire day feel so bad, even I thought I made a mistake tovisit the restaurant and met her. This might be the best TacoTime I've ever visited. I grew up in Saskatchewan, but now live in Ontario with no TacoTime nearby. ... When visiting family in the west, I make a point of grabbing a meal or two at TacoTime. This is by far the best I've had in theCalgary area. The owners are very nice, and the food is prepared fresh and with generous and properly balanced filling. TheMexi-fries were also super crisp. Definitely worth the drive from Calgary if you enjoy TacoTime as much as I do. Read more

Went for my wife's usual Taco order which we have gotten weekly for over a year (She works near by). 2 Hard Shell Beef Taco's,... No Cheese/Dairy Allergy with Add Rice; was outright refused immediately by the lady working solo at the time; was told that "Itwould not work, and we don't do that" and that I would be unable to order my usual Taco's. I reassured the staff member that Ihave ordered it before and that I am aware that Rice would be extra cost; again, refused my order claiming it "would beimpossible to fit Beef, Rice, Tomato, and Lettuce into the hard shell taco" - all the while receiving extremely rude hums andhaws, eye rolling, and heistance to complete my order. I then said to just put the Lettuce and Tomato on the side and I'llbuild my taco's at home; again denied my order saying she was "Unable, and can't put the toppings on the side". At this point,it was clear she was not here to serve me - so I began leaving. After realizing I was walking out she called after me to nowattempt to reluctantly make my order - by now there is no way I am ordering food. This is completely contradictory to theexperience the owner has provided in the past; he is the most accomidating, kind, and amazing business owner I have met and thereason my wife even places this order is a result of his suggestion. I am leaving this review, not to complain about thisbusiness - rather this employee who is clearly not here to provide hospitality to the guests and should not be allowed to ruinthis businesses good reputation; I was open to any possibility that would allow me to get my regular order with no problems, andout-right denied with attitude at every option. This experience left me feeling judged and turned away; it'll be a while beforewe come back I'm sure, but we'll be back because the owner is an amazing person. Read more
