The trip was just what we needed. The chicken fried steak with eggs was nice and crispy and had a nice sausage gravy. The... "Dutch baby" pancake with fruit was huge with a great flavor. The food is always top notch here and the service is normally above par. It wasn't terrible on our last visit but our server... seemed to be distracted and disappeared more than once. We were there mid afternoon on a Friday and perhaps she was preoccupiedwith finishing side work for the end of her shift or preparing for the dinner crowd to come as it was not at all busy.
