We were in town from central Illinois for a Bagpipe workshop, my wife and I mapped restaurants, thought this one looked... interesting and decided to try it. We weren't disappointed. Food was excellent and the portions very generous. Our server, Jodi was outstanding, helpful, friendly and very attentive. We highly recommended!!! Read more
Amazing burgers, soggy fries, asked for plain chicken tenders they came coated in sauce. This was a take out order late Sunday... night, they closed ten minutes later so we couldn't drive back. Uncle dies Sunday. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Called thisSaturday to ask if they could make it right, she repeats multiple times, we can't look up your order, you could have left amessage, why didn't you leave a message. When I interrupt her after the third time she tells me I should have left a message, Itell her the reason I didn't leave a message was due to a severe illness and death in the family. Then she literally says I wasbeing condescending. Sorry, chicken and fries weren't at the top of my to do list during an out of town funeral. Hidden gem of awesome eats - don't let the "Tavern" fool you - food is heads above usual bar fare in quality and value. The... "rub" for their wings/boneless is 2nd to none - the boneless chicken is high quality and little bread. Shrimp/Sherry Bruschettaappetizer is amazing. Everything we've had so far is out of the park- there 3 times so far and recommending to others. Renovatedduring COVID. Open Wed-Sat 4pm-close. This used to be one of our favorite places to grab wings from. Their pb&j are the best in town…IF they actually take orders....
