Everytime I come here it's always just for the novelty. The only real draw is the brewery and the apple pies. The food you order... honestly is being made by kids and it shows. I ordered onion rings and the grilled cheese. The onion rings, were crunchy , Ilove crunchy. Yet these were cooked so long that even the onion itself inside was hard as a rock. The oil they were cooked ittasted like it hadn't been changed in weeks. The grilled cheese was sooooo oily, as well both items upset my stomachimmediately. I won't hate on the place for this because I get it, stress, busy, things happen. But when I go and visit againnext month. I'll best hope that the food quality is better. Read more

We made a stop here on our way from Toronto to Ottawa, and we ended up staying a lot longer than we expected! Initially, we... anticipated taking a few photos with the big apple and then hitting the road again, but there is quite a bit to do there! Therewas mini golf, a petting zoo, and lots to see around the place and in the stores. Our kids loved it, and we ended up spending acouple hours! Obviously, it's touristy (including what's sold and the prices), but definitely a fun stop for road trips, especially for young children. The washrooms were clean, and there were also many options for food and drink to eat there ortake on the road. Read more

Awesome place to visit, incredible variety, makes you want to buy so many things. Can easily stay 2 to 3 hours. Only reason... didn't give 5 stars, the blueberry pie was lacking that sweet punch, it was a bit bland. Read more

Exit 497 mid-way between Toronto and Ottawa - this stop has EVERYTHING. Always a nostalgic stop with plenty of options to... stretch your legs and feed your belly. Their restroom are totally country bumkin themed with plenty of washroom stalls. Alongwith the delicious apple pies there is a full bakery with loads apple options from cakes, donuts, tarts and loaves. There is acounter-serve diner with decent options and ready-to-go prepped meals as well with a cute country store attached with indoor andheated out-door patio. For the little kids there is a full candy story with fresh fudge, bulk goodies, and candy/caramel applesnext to the 401 Cider brewery for the big kids. In season there are other kid rides, mini golf and a beautiful pond for a quickwalk. Read more
