I love their ice cream, but the male owner is not a people person. I asked for a glass of water as the store was closing early... and I was told I couldn?t even get a paper cup of water to sit outside. The hornets are aggressive and thirsty and looking forwater and we were hoping we could distract them from stinging us. Then my friend found plastic in her one ice cream. It lookslike pieces from the lid. She had it in her mouth and had to spit it out. We didn?t bother to tell the owner because it?sobvious he doesn?t care. I?m not sure if this is enough of a reason to avoid this cute little place, but I prefer to spendmoney at places where the owner is friendly. Perhaps I?ll visit the Italian Coffee Shop next time, down town. They have gelato,ice cream and great coffee. And it?s an authentic Italian family. Read more
To start I apologize for parking in front of your store. It was 6 am and I have troubles walking and hearing impaired. But I... completely understand being told to move. However being yelled at not just the first time but then two more consecutive timeswhen I parked on the other side of the railroad tracks at 630 am. I left before your café opens its doors. Also you yelled atwomen who were there for a morning swim also around 6 am. There is a normal and polite way to act and not one person thatmorning gave you a single bit of grief. From banana bread to carrot cake, samosas to breakfast buddies, ice cream to jerky! There are alsobeach toys and camping accessories that you might have forgotten.
