Wow... Can't imagine a worse experience. Never got our food! This location has continued to go downhill for years. It has even... had multiple owners. This was the last time I'm going there. When we showed up, one employee was sitting on the porch smokingand the front door was locked. After we stood there for several minutes pulling on the door she finally said oh, did that getlocked again? They only had half of the food on the menu. Before we could even take our order, the staff left and we stood therefor 10 minutes by ourselves. They did not have cups and the pop machine was broken. Have eaten here several times in the past and never had a problem. Stopped there today and had a terrible experience. Waited... over 40 minutes and there were only 3 people ahead of us. Only one poor woman working, she was doing her best but was clearlyoverwhelmed by her responsibilities. By the time we were finally handed our greasy trays the meat was cold. Our sides were ok.Soda/ice machine was not working, no silverware in containers, no BBQ sauce, no paper towels on tables. Just don't. I had to ask if the place was even open. It's gross. The food they served me was hardly edible. The sandwhich was... cold and the fries were just mush in a bag. They were out of items that I ordered and had already paid for. Definitely went waydownhill from the previous owners. I will not be back. Wow this place was a hot mess tonight. The owner better get this place in shape, because tonight it should have been closed. We... walked in and was completely ignored, no eye contact nothing. After waiting patiently for about 10 minutes we were acknowledgedto take an order, and it was like pulling teeth to get it finished. While eating 4 people walked out because they were ignoredby the 2 employees doing something else. Come to find out a customer came in livid because his catered order was almost an hourpast delivery on a $1000 order. I was defending the employees but after hearing that their catered meal was an hour late Iunderstand his anger. Our meal was not even at a safe temperature to eat. Coleslaw and potatoes were barely warm. Drink machinenot working, no ice cream. The man handling the meat was only wearing 1 glove and his other hand was full of grease. Bathroomswere disgusting, no paper towels or toilet paper. Overall cleanliness was nasty. I know times are tuff getting help. But thiswas unacceptable on every level. Close the doors and clean it up. Absolutely incredible staff of three hard working people. They gave us a free coleslaw because they made an extra and while I?m... typically not a fan due to texture issues it was amazing. We got a pound of brisket, a pound of polish kielbasa, max and cheese,two kinds of sauces, three buns, and two cokes for $80. The meat was made in house by the gentleman who cashed us out and was anabsolute sweetheart. Everything was made with love and it was an absolute pleasure to spend an evening out here. Read more
