Menu for Blake's Steaks in College Station, TX

Bummed out. We were really excited to try Blake's Steaks and have been wanting to come for some time. The girl at the counter... wasn't very helpful and didn't offer any help when ordering, we also were one of two sets of customers and were never even toldbye as we were leaving. In this small town a little Texas friendly help goes a long way! We both ordered the original cheesesteak and some french fries. The fries were hot and crispy, the bread on the sandwich was great, the meat was chopped well butthat's where the goodness stops. The meat was bland, the cheese wasn't really there and I only got a couple slivers of onions. Ionly ate half and just couldn't bring myself to finish it. Again I was really expecting a cheesy gooey flavorful cheese steak.Maybe I set up the wrong expectations. I would be willing to come back and try another sandwich, but for $25 for two sandwichesand 1 french fry order i might just find a more satisfying meal elsewhere. :( Read more

If you even kind of like Philly cheese steaks, you've gotta go to Blake's. They import their bread (the most important part)... directly from Philadelphia. They have an extensive menu with different daily specials, but I like the "OG" the best. Afterspending a few years in Philly I can tell you Blake's is the real deal and the only place to go in College Station. Read more

Went to Blake?s Steaks for the first time yesterday. The OG with onions and mushrooms was delicious, well seasoned and tender.... The fries were crispy and seasoned well. Overall, great lunch. Can?t wait to take my husband. The lunch combo was excellentvalue. Read more

Great sandwiches and great service. The cheese steaks weren't too greasy but still had plenty of flavor. The portions were also... incredibly satisfying as well, almost too much! Very clean and casual environment, great for bringing kids or to come watch agame while you eat. If you ask they will change the TV channels for you to whatever you'd like, very nice. Read more
