Food was same Ole but service was not good. Our server ignored us and I had to get up several times. Not terrible but not good
Definitely would rate a zero if I could. I placed an order over the phone and arrived within five minutes. I am greeted at the... door to follow the waiter to the bar. He has not rung me up or asked what I ordered and is counting money for another customer.He continues to inform me that their oven mysteriously just broke before I arrived and asked if I wanted the food or not.Complete waste of time! We had a terrible experience here last night. I ordered a combo #5 with cheese enchiladas and La Poblana with no meat (we're... vegetarian). I have to drive 25 minutes to reach the restaurant and they told me it would be ready in 10-15 minutes, but after Iarrived I had to wait another 15 minutes for the order. Then, I get it home and it's chicken fajitas and shrimp fajitas -- thecompletely wrong order and both meat-based. I drove *back* to the restaurant and called on the way to request they refund ourmoney and make it correctly. When I got there, the manager was surly and asked me to "stop disrespecting him." I was speaking inan even tone and just explained their mistake and what it cost me to have to come back. I asked that they remake the order andhe went in the back and sent out the bartender to tell me there's no way the manager will make it correctly for me and I was outof luck. We've been El Porton customers for going on 20 years, but they just lost us and I recommend you avoid them too. Read more

Dine their for the first time Nov 2022. I was not impressed with the food. Not much flavor to the chicken tacos. Lots of chicken... in the corn taco shell with too much cilantro on the top. That was it, no sauce know nothing just chicken and taco shell.Husbands food was not that good neither. Sorry but much better Mexican restaurants in the area to waste my money here. Read more
