Very bad experience on my latest visit. I have noticed that at most Perkins the service can be spotty. My last visit here the... service was let's just say very poor and disappointing. To start off with for some reason this restaurant continues to have amask mandate, probably one of the few in the area that does, why they continue to do so I do not know. It is what it is Isuppose. Service took forever to attend to me and not only that but I noticed that some customers that arrived after me werebeing attended to before I did. That in itself is not good service. Terrible customer service!! The manager was rude and disrespectful. When I mentioned to them I had been waiting to be served the... manager came out and screamed at me in front of all the customers they only have 2 servers and I should be patient. Patiencewasn?t my issue since I understand that they were short staffed. My issue is how did 2 tables that came in after me were able toget served, yet I was still waiting to be acknowledged. Instead of the MANAGER taking the time out to figure out what theproblem was, he automatically just embarrassed me by screaming at me in front of the whole restaurant. Had I been the manager, Iwould?ve asked the customer was there anything I could do to handle the misunderstanding better. The waiter who finally took myorder was extremely nice and the waiter who was supposed to wait on our table did come up and apologize to us. He also explainedthat he was unaware he had been seated a table since the hostess did not mention it to him and that is why we were sitting forso long waiting to be served. I contacted corporate as well and no one responded back although they said the regional would becontacting me regarding this issue. Will I go back again, absolutely not. The management is terrible, rude and completelydisrespectful. This place does not know how to treat their customers. Worst experience I ever had in my life. Went to Perkins for the first time in my life. Which is about 30 years. Sadly, It was an okay place. Nothing that would give a... wow factor and felt we did not miss anything for not going there for all my life. We were total of 6 people, waited for a whileand food was okay, the service really needed improvement. I won't be going there again. :(( Read more
Good service and COVID conscious. Average food. Ordered salmon, asparagus,, mashed potatoes and sourdough toast. I was happy... with everything except the Salmon. It was overcooked and should have had garlic flavor, but there was none. The person I wentwith said his meal was excellent????! I wanted to try this place so bad! Finally go only to be greeted at the door by a host with no gloves on handing me a mask to... put on my face. What is the point of being greeted this way only to walk to the table and take the damn mask off? Where iscommon sense?
