I have been wanting to try Boro Kabob ever since my friend had them cater her son's birthday. I drove from Reston, Virginia and... even though there are many kabob restaurants this by far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in I was greeted bythe friendly manager, Sanaz. She was very helpful helping me decide since there were so many options to choose from. I ended upordering the Boro wings, sumac and feta fries, hummus, labneh, koobideh, chicken, spicy shrimp and barg. Everything wasbeautifully prepared and I love how they ask what meat temperature customer like. They also have their own app where you canearn points that turn into rewards and their own water! Lastly, I could not leave without desserts, I ordered the creme bruleand chocolate hazelnut dessert cups! Everything was amazing and I will definitely be back and send my friends their way! Was very excited to hear about this place opening recently! They do a really good job with what they offer, for sure. Let me start with how clean the place was, especially in the middle of Pandemic. Then how wonderful the lady who took our orders... was. She was extremely patient with our large group, especially with my kids. Now the food; I love Mediterranean food ingeneral, so I came in thinking it was another kebob place. Well, they have much more to offer; Decent food for vegetarians,vegans and even those who are seeking gluten-free food. Kebabs were tender and tasty bread fresh and warm, basmati is moist butnot mushy as one would expect. What made you give 5 stars to this place was the quality of the falafel they served. Thisvegetarian delight that is usually sold as dry lumps was actually soft, tasty and enjoyable. We run out of time and I didn't getto try the desserts. So we will come.back. My daughter requested Mediterranean food for lunch Friday. I randomly picked Boro Kabob while browsing DoorDash. Our food... arrived securely packaged but more importantly it was Delicious! My salmon was cooked perfectly. The chicken, shrimp, salmon andlamb was seasoned well and very flavorful, the rice was soft and fresh. The salad was fresh and the yogurt cucumber sauce wasincredible. The portions were good. I've found my go to restaurant for Mediterranean food. I just have to say it's shocking tome that someone can leave a review and talk about how great the food was but then complain and deduct stars because they didn'tget plastic utensils and a napkin!
