Went here last night a half hour before closing after being at the hospital for 14 hours with my mom having a brain tumor... removed and finding out she has aggressive cancer. Staff had no idea yet made our night so much better by letting us stay a halfhour passed closing and not rushing us at all, making sure we had our margaritas which really hit the spot ???????? Supergrateful and will come back. Thank you to the staff from the bottom of my heart. Read more
This is probably the best decorated Mexican restaurant I?ve ever encountered this side of the border. And the food is on point!... We had a steak nachos. Extremely delicious. Great cuts of meat with lots of fresh veggies, and The cheese sauce has just alittle slight bite to it which makes it interesting. The service was a little slow but we got there at a off-peak time So it wasslow throughout the whole restaurant. If you?ve ever done serving before you know you can get busy doing back of house stuff andforget you got that one customer that needs a refill and a drink. So we?re not gonna ding them on that today. My family has been going to Jose's for a few years now, and since they've moved into their new location, the quality and the... atmosphere has remained the same as we've always enjoyed. The very friendly staff and accommodating menu gives everyone a chanceto enjoy a great meal no matter what, even when their dining room is full to the brim with hungry patrons. So we went to the Columbia location last night, we should have known how the service would be as soon as we walked in. Although... the food was good, warm but not sizzling hot. When we asked for a table instead of a booth and they all looked puzzled, likethere were no tables but clearly there were. Everyone placed their order, my Mom ordered a Margareta (which she never got) andthey NEVER came by and offered to refill our drinks. We were clearly done with our meals, we had to flag down a staff member toget a to go box and bill. Needless to say we will never go back. Read more

We moved from TX and couldn't find a good Mexican restaurant in Columbia until now. The caldo, chips, salsa, queso, and... margaritas are delicious. I highly recommend the fajitas.
