My boyfriend and I were finally able to give this place a try. I ordered the shrimp and grits plate and he had the "best I ever... had." We also ordered a side of "moon dust" potatoes. The grits were phenomenal and the shrimp was well seasoned. I just wasn'ta fan of roasted red pepper sauce. Not because it was bad, just not what I'm used to. The bf enjoyed his French toast. The cremeanglaise was fantastic and good contrast for the raspberry sauce. My shrimp and grits came with a biscuit and I was blown awayby the texture and taste. Best biscuit I've had in a very long time. And the what I'm thinking was apple butter with the biscuitwas a great pair. The chicken sausage was also quite the surprise. It had amazing flavor, didn't make me miss pork sausage onebit. Our waitress Alexa was also very friendly and had great customer service. The only bad thing we're the potatoes. They werepretty bland. But we will definitely return. Read more

Friendly staff, nasty food and sanitation. Would not recommend. Long wait, was estimated 30 minutes which turned into 42... minutes. Understanding this likely is out of their control. Once seated I was very quickly greeted by a server and had my ordertaken. The server was very polite but had seemed flustered as if there was more going on than she was comfortable with. Out ofmy silverware the fork still had visible food residue from a previous guest. The building has a very warm and welcomingappearance and vibe. It was very loud and crowded when I was seated around 1030. Always a good sign when establishments arepopular. Coffee was very hot and had a very nice flavor. The chicken and waffles were very well presented and came in a verylarge portion. The butter packets which have been who knows where came on top of my food with some sort of food debris not frommy order stuck to the container. Disgusting. The food tasted decent but was overly hyped based off all the reviews andrecommendations I was given. The chicken was way overly darkened as if the back of house had neglected to switch the frier oilwhen it was needed. Also, was pretty dry. They menu is very large and has a wide variety. This place has much potential butbased off my experience I wouldn?t recommend. There?s much better establishments in the area. Read more

Biscuit is in the name so obviously it's a must have, but if you're a grits person, you have to get that. Hands down the best... grits I've ever had, and they are deserving of the adjectives dreamy and creamy. Great selection on the menu, even for the pickyeater or the vegan/gluten free person in your life. The chicken and waffles, hot and dirty, love! Great, hip atmosphere. Thewaitress wasn't very friendly, and made me feel like I was bothering her, otherwise they would've gotten 5 stars. Read more
