Went Friday 4 Nov.. it was Date night for my husband & I.. greeted warmly by Ms. D she was attentive, nice and accommodating,... the place was causaly decorated, warm welcome feel, it is a very small place so quickly it filled, but not uncomfortably. Weordered Fish(for him) for Me (shrimp,sausage,grits), collard greens & had to try their Signature Mac&Cheese (the secret: theyput jalapeños in it) may not be everyone's cut of tea but it's tasty. The fish came out Hot & fresh(like "we" like it), thebowl of shrimp, sausages and grits would have been awesome had the Shrimp not been over cooked and there were actual grits inthe bowl( hardly any in there to call a bowl). The hush puppies would have been really good if they weren't cold.The Collards"ok" nothing special, not much taste. The fish I can say shocked me.. very well seasoned fried to a golden perfection and like Isaid it was Hot.. The prices I felt are inflated(just because they can) not because your getting Creme De La Creme. We've hadway better else where. But their efforts have been noted. Read more
Nice establishment, good people, good atmosphere?light jazz playing in the background was a plus. The smoked turkey wing was on... point and bigger than what I thought. The food is not bad. Portion small for the price. The customer service is what gets me and I?ve been several and it?s been the... same each time. She?s not really friendly and if you?re a friend or someone she knows personality seems pleasant. I?m big oncustomer service and how you treat people and the owners mannerism is not good! Read more
