09/12/2022: Extortion Alert! Check your card statement if you pay by card. Had a lunch there with my family. Food was below... average. Sat outside as they provide outdoor dining. After we were done I paid them by cash and started walking towards my carwhen I heard waiter calling me. We stopped as we were confused what might be the reason. Waiter approached me and told that Ihave to pay 18% tip even though I had paid 10% tip for below average food. On the check it did not say any "mandatory tip" allit showed was "Suggested tip" I followed the waiter inside and told manager about the incident. I was shocked by manager'sattitude. He was like why you don't want to pay 18% tip. Stood there and argued but it was not going anywhere. At last paid themmore than 18% tip as I had to get back to work. The last time we went we picked the spot since it was open till 10 and it was about 9:15 when we reached lucianas. However, the... server came and asked us if we needed boxes just few minutes after serving the food. If time was an issue, I sincerely wish theyhad just told us that they wouldn?t take anymore customers at that time. The salsa is great and has a little kick. They have a nice patio to enjoy when the weather is nice. I ordered a grilled burrito... that was beef, beans, and cheese. It was supposed to come with verde on the side, but it didn?t, however the waitress quicklybrought it when I asked. The prices are higher than most Mexican restaurants. If you are going to charge more than everywhereelse the food needs to be GREAT and it was just ok, that?s why I only gave four stars. Our server was awesome and did a greatjob. Everything was salty. Chips tasted and looked old. Salsa was good not great with 2 inch chunks of onion. queso was good. Food is okay but likely will not visit very often. It has pretty typical selections but they do not seem to be very effective at... take-out orders. We understood that due to the number of people there would be a wait but it ended up being more than double thetime they quoted. Also, our order was not complete when it was given to us, which was corrected after I asked my husband if aspecific item was in the bag. Then we had to return an additional time for the other parts of dishes that were not, in fact, inthe containers as we were told. Read more
