Let me start but saying that our server was great. Unfortunately, the food wasn't as good as his service was. Based on reviews... and suggestions, tried the broccoli bites - very underwhelming. Very blah in flavor. I've read others say it needs salt. It'sserved with a honey mustard, and all that does is completely cover up the flavor, which I guess was okay, but I didn't order anappetizer just to cover it in honey mustard so I couldn't taste it. The blackened prime rib was actually pretty decent, exceptit had evidently sat in the window too long, as the meat on the edge of the sandwich was cold. Speaking of cold, the shrimprisotto my wife ordered came out cold. Their solution was to just pour more sauce on it. Again, underwhelming in flavor.Finished things off with some cheese cake. People seem to love Harveys. The atmosphere is bustling and fun. There is a fully stocked bar although it took over twenty... minutes for the waitress to bring drinks once ordered. There was a comment about the bar running out of liquor which was backingall of the orders up. Food was well-plated. The taste waste just okay…except for the Broccoli Bites which were awesome. My family and I were in town from Virginia and wanted to try something new. I’m glad we ate here because the food was really... good. We started off with the fried cheese (mozzarella sticks) and then we had a salad and some bread before our other foodarrived. I ordered their steak with a loaded potato. Some of the best food I have ever tasted and excellent service. The ribeye I ordered had been marinated for 48 hours and was... sooo tender!!!! My friend had the Delta Chicken which he said was very good. The manager came over as we started eating thenafter we had finished eating. He asked if it was our first visit and stated he meant to come earlier. They give first timevisitors a free desert. He offered it to us but we were too full. I most definitely recommend going to this restaurant if inColumbus. MS. The ambiance is perfect and I love the design. There is also outdoor seating. Read more
