As someone who loves ramen, this wasn't even close to the best I've ever had. There was a thick and noticeable layer of oil on... top of the broth which I almost never see from a premium bowl (or any other). It really made the whole experience a mess andquite off-putting. I think if I were to drink the broth afterwards, I wouldn't be able to keep it down. The pork bowl had bitsof caramelized(?) pulled pork which were tasty but didn't really add much to the flavor. Also, the egg was just ok, a bit grittyand bland. I feel bad posting this because the dumplings were delicious, but for a $12 bowl, you're better off just buying apacket of Shin Black ramen at the grocery for $2.49. The owners seem really nice and I hope they increase the quality ordecrease the price of their ramen because it just wasn't good. Read more
The two people working the truck were friendly however the food was very disappointing. I got the pork ramen and the flavor was... just not very good. Service is probably 4/5 while taste is 2/5. Read more

I didn't expect a food truck called Capital Ramen to have the best chili dogs I've ever had... I'm not a big ramen guy, which... could be because my extensive experience with ramen extends to packaged ramen you heat up at home. So when this food truck wasin the area, I figured I'd best stick to my lunch. One of my colleagues advised me that they have chilli dogs on their menu. Indisbelief, I looked through their menu; they have wraps, tacos, chicken dumplings, hot dogs and chilli dogs! I wasn't sure whatto expect for $11. Only after I ordered and received my 2 chilli dogs did I realize I got a deal. These were good sized grilledbeef hot dogs covered in beef chilli, topped with shredded cheddar, red and green onions. Absolutely plastered in spicy mustard,sweet relish, ketchup and Hawaiian BBQ. They looked AMAZING (check out my picture!), and they tasted even better. Theseimmediately became my favorite chilli dogs, and I'll always be on the look out for this food truck next time they're in thearea! Read more
