I ate a delicious lunch yesterday [10-12-2022] at Cinco Tacos at 1 S. High St. in downtown Columbus. I am downtown only... occasionally during the rather-limited "lunchtime-only" hours of Cinco Tacos; yesterday had been a great time for me to eatthere because I had also been attending a 10:00 a.m. press conference that same day, across the street, at the OhioStatehouse. My food choice for yesterday had been a "Cubano," "birria beef, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, deli pickles, and spicymustard, served on a telera roll." I had not been able to figure out exactly what a "Cubano" is by reading the hand-letteredmenu near the ordering counter but decided to order a "Cubano" anyway. I would have added the word "sandwich" to the name thatappears on the menu had I been designing the menu. Depending on where you look, you will see different "open hours" listed forCinco Tacos. A sign on their front door says that they are open Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. However, a banner thathas been attached to the outside of the building [that faces W. Broad St.] says that they are open 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Itend to believe the "Monday-Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m." sign on the front door but I do want to mention the banner thatfaces W. Broad St. that provides conflicting information that may not actually be true. The interior of Cinco Tacos providesextremely interesting views of the very-familiar-to-me intersection of Broad St. and High St., and also provides interestingviews of W. Broad St. as far west as the Palace Theatre and the LeVeque Tower, from angles from which I had never before viewedthat area of downtown Columbus. After I had arrived at home yesterday, I learned that the Cinco Tacos website includes avastly-easier-to-read menu that I definitely plan to consult before my next visit. If you are downtown -- on a weekday --during the lunch hour -- and are looking for some delicious Mexican Food, I recommend Cinco Tacos. Read more

Tried today for first time.I ordered Stacked enchiladas. Very good! Flavorful and fresh. Moderately busy with diners seated and... pickup orders. Line was long but orders went by pretty fast. They were friendly and got my order correct [I'm assuminghaha] Clean facility and good smells. Will try tacos next time or a bowl. Will be returning soon. Reasonably prices as well. Read more
First time eating here, ordered curbside. I loved it. We ordered steak supreme hard, and soft shell. I am a well done type of... meat eater, so if you are too. I recommend requesting them well done. That?s the only reason they didn?t receive 5 star?s. Wealso ordered chicken supreme, and chicken regular both soft shell. These were my favorite. I would have more than likely lovedthem on hard shell. That one hard shell steak taco made me want to go back and ordered them in chicken. Family ate all the hardshells before I could get pictures.
