When we walked in we were greeted by a wonderfully friendly gentleman named Greg. We checked out the menu and were a little... surprised to see how similar the menu items available to another chicken tenders place. Greg did a wonderful job explaining themenu. We got some sliders and fries. I got the extra hot and medium spice levels. I can tolerate heat pretty well but tend tonot go super hot. The extra hot and medium were very tasty and could have gone hotter. Everyone else who tried it considered itto be plenty hot for them. Now the chicken tenders they serve are massive. So much bigger then a normal tender. They were cookedperfectly, very juicy, and flavorful. The slider buns were also very good. Slightly sweet with some yeasty flavors. Everythingwas very good. Even tried the Mac and cheese and milkshakes. Mac and cheese were good. Milkshakes were just a milkshake, kind ofreminded me of a Frosty. Look forward to going back and trying the next heat level. Got the hot and the medium sliders. The chicken was really crisp and fresh. The hot was so spicy I'm glad I didn't get the extra... hot or the reaper. The medium wasn't spicy at all but it was all good. Sauces were good ????, so was the Mac&cheese but I thinkI will skip that next time. Read more
Updated Review: The Chicken: Ordered the Mild (bottom, darker colour) and Lite Mild (top, brighter colour) this time to give... both a fair shake. Both were tender and moist, and the breading wasn't overly thick, and was much easier to eat this time. Thebread for the chicken was incredibly dry. So much that when folded, basically snapped in half. The Fries: The fries were amixed bag though, which is one of two reasons I'm only giving the food 4 stars. Some were dry, and felt incredibly old and notthat hot, while others seemed fresher being much softer and hotter. The chicken is delicious. I've tried medium, hot, and reaper so far. I was really impressed by the medium. It is more flavorful... that most mediums while not being spicy. All the spice levels have a nice crispy (not crunchy) exterior and a juicy, tenderinterior. In terms of spice level, the reaper is about what I would expect for "hot" - it's a slow burn that's not overwhelming.The fries are pretty much perfect.
