The corn ice cream is amazing!! Corn and tamarind are my favorites. We went recently and they did have the corn but have gone in... the winter time and been disappointed to not find that flavor. Great little shop with authentic desserts. Highly recommend forthe hot summer Midwest days. Always fills my craving! Read more
I've been wanting to try this place for a while but I'm never in that area of town. I will be making the drive again soon with a... cooler and ice packs to take some Popsicles home with me! I had some prickly pear sorbet that was SO refreshing and a scoop ofcoffee & dark chocolate ice cream. Both were amazing. Staff were friendly and answered any questions. They were patient as weall took forever to narrow it down! The reason I had to take a couple stars off is because the bathroom was gross. It had noseat on the toilet, and there was no soap or paper towels. A staff person used it before me, so I can only hope she washed herhands somewhere else before returning to work! The servers did wear gloves, but there's no replacement for proper handwashing.We're talking about food safety and health here- critical stuff. I'll try it again without using the restroom. I will look inthere, though, and if it isn't clean and stocked next time, I won't return again. I value my health. Read more
Fabian and Alonso provided his food truck and service to my nieces graduation party. It was amazing! The guests loved the... options of sweet and savory food as well as cold orchata on a hot summer day. He drove over an hour to Dayton Ohio and was ontime and service and variety was amazing. Finally got to try this place. We got the paletas (coconut, strawberries and cream, mango kiwi strawberry). The coconut paleta... contained stressed coconut and was extremely rich. The mango kiwi strawberry one was icier since it didn?t have any milk orcream in it. The strawberry and cream one was a perfect mixture of freshness and mellowness. Will absolutely come again!
