Ordered dosa thali and chole poori through doordash. I chose masala dosa for the thali - they delivered dosa, one idli, two... wada, one gulab jamun, two small bowls of sambar and one small bowl of coconut chutney. I was happy about the thali - every itemwas good, the dosa was wrapped in butter paper and then in aluminum foil, rest of the items were in styrofoam boxes/bowls. I wasa little disappointed about the item - choley poori. They sent three poori, each of which was a size of burrito, wrapped in oilabsorbing paper inside a styrofoam box and the choley came in a plastic container. I found the poori a bit oily and the choleytexture was different than what I expected. Overall a good platter for atleast 3 - 4 meals. Read more
During our stay at Columbus, we visited this restaurant to find good South Indian food. The place is small but cozy. We ordered... dosa Thali. Portion size for the price of food was good. Idlis and Wadas were good but I liked dosa the most. The taste was notauthentic South Indian but was good. We also ordered upama to go. Nothing like typical upama but preparation of food is NorthIndian style. Service got slow as soon as place got few more customers. This is not your typical udupi style restaurant but goodplace to try South Indian food with a North Indian twist. Read more
Ambience: 3.75/5 Idli: 4.85/5( need to keep for few min more so that get less sticky) Sambar; 5/5 Coconut chutney:5/5 Dosa ... masala: 5/5 Yogurt rice: 1/5( do good tempering, salt and curry leave and good quality rice). Vada: 2/5 looks good but doesn'ttaste good. LEMON RICE: I MAKE SO BETTER. Doesn't taste lemon, no curry leaves, no taste super poor quality of rice.(.it ismaking me sick just by the look).
