My husband and I went there on a spur of the moment this past Friday as we were in Columbus for the OSU game. They were very... busy but very efficiently running we got the perfect table and the perfect server her name was Loretta she was very good at whatshe does and made our experience extra nice! We ordered the prime rib and Alexander salads with a side of broccoli all of it wasout of this world and perfectly prepared! Food was good! High quality ingredients! My husband and I got the smoked salmon dip, rattlesnake pasta & chicken bacon ranch... salad. Been a top-notch restaurant for years. My favorite dish happens to be the the ribs they fall off the bone. The Alex's salad,... filet kabobs right up there with with the soup. Service is really good but not quite as good as it used to be when they seem tohelp each other more. Still a favorite. Read more
The patio was great and would recommend it to anyone. We started off with the queso dip. It wasn't anything special and the... chips were fine. I had the steak burger and loved the bun. It was toasted to perfection. The burger itself was a decent sizeand cooked to my liking but lacking seasoning and had little flavor. However, I’m a fan of their shoestring fry’s, they werereally good - hot and crispy. We also had the Artic Char. It was a great portion size and cooked well and hot when served, butway under seasoned. The slaw they served with it was cold, crunchy, creamy and really good. The downside was the rice pilaf.They used some converted rice, which has no place in an up scale restaurant. It's was underwhelming and texturally off for afish dish. The service was just okay. Our wait person was a bit slow and we had to ask for refills, not something you shouldhave to do when paying that much. Overall was decent but does not make me want to go back. Read more

All I wanted for dinner was a good steak and a glass of wine. I got exactly that and excellent service. This is my filet cooked... rare and I requested a substitution of the potato for brussel sprouts. Would agree with other reviewers who commented on therestaurant being dark, but frankly I like it that way b/c I don't want to see those at other tables. Would definitely return. Read more
