Overall it was really good. There are a handful of gluten free items (I got the breakfast tacos). The breakfast tacos come in... three but I clearly ate one before the photo. We did go when they were packed so it took longer to get our order but what elsecould you expect. Very good and would definitely go back. Read more
I don't understand why it has so many stars. Because the menu/concept is unique, but it is just Mexican fusion with interesting... menu name. You know your food was serve lukewarm right ? Pancake ball was nothing special, probably one of the worst pancakes Iever had. Inside the pancake was mushy like it wasn't cook all the way through or too much flour in the batter maybe. I ratherhad regular pancake from a diner. Maybe lunch menu is better but Breakfast was such a let down. Read more
I stopped by the Clintonville Farmers Market and decided to give this place a try. I heard a lot about it on Tik-Tok and wanted... to check it out. It is really cute on the inside and the outside. We ordered the Hibiscus Herbal Iced Tea($3.50), BreakfastTacos($14), the Purple Craze Hash($7) and the Pancake Balls with Pumpkin Apple Butter($14.50). Their system had a glitch anddidn?t send our food order to the kitchen. After waiting about an hour I went up to the register and spoke to someone since wehadn?t received our order. The staff was very helpful! They were able to get our food out on a rush and also offered us drinksand a gift card for the trouble. It wasn?t their fault but technology can be really fluke at time. So if you notice your orderis taking a while just head to the register to be sure everything went through. The Breakfast Tacos were totally worth the wait!They were amazing. The Purple Hash was pretty good and the Pancake Balls are super filling so I recommend sharing them. We alsotried the Blood Orange Drink which was absolutely delicious. I wish I could give this place a 5-Star Rating, but when you try so hard to be unique that you emulate everyone else trying to... be unique, you just wind up being cliche? ? and this place seems to be painfully overpriced, even in this economy? That said,the Food is very good, and is of good quality, but they would benefit greatly by adding a few comfort entrees to the menu, likemaybe a Fried Chicken entree, and maybe some Meatloaf?
