Our family's wedding reception was saved by the General Manager of this wonderful restaurant. We needed assistance with warming... our food and he saved us when we were in a bind. We are so grateful for the kindness shown. We ate lunch at High's Cafe thefollowing day. It was absolutely wonderful! Healthy and delicious salads that were truly memorable. To clarify, the food is excellent, and the service is fine, but when you order your food there's a large plastic panel in front... of you making it difficult for the employees to hear your order and difficult for you to hear them. So I would suggest that thepanel is either removed or, in keeping with health and safety, holes are cut in the panel. With that I would actually give 4stars, probably. Read more
Everything about this place was great! The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable-we sat outside under the trees. The food was... tasty and satisfying. The green chili chicken soup was very good and fresh. The grilled spiraled double dog with chow chow and acold draft beer will definitely have me coming back again. Loved it! Read more
Sunday in Comfort, Tx would not be complete without a lunch at High?s Cafe. We had a delicious meal on the deck. SMALL CEASAR... w/CHICKEN SALAD (oh my it was big, we could barely finish it) and a BUBBA sandwich for my husb. Was all so good. Cant wait togo back. Also had a lovely chst with the owner/chef. They even have a cookbook and cute gifts inside. Worth the drive fromWimberley for sure. Read more
