Here's the thing. This place has good food, and Great service! But they are not very generous with their portions sadly. I spent... nearly twenty dollars for two carne asada tacos that were so lightly filled I could fold my tortilla together and then over. Nobeans and rice. Just two sparely filled tacos. A few pieces of meat, little cheese and lettuce w/ $9.25 price tag. I had toorder chips and salsa myself to which I added queso. It seems like if you are going to charge me for chips and salsa, why notoffer me the option to have salsa, queso, or guacamole. Rather than forcing me to purchase salsa that I don't want and pay extrafor the queso that I do want. The house made chips were yummy and generous. Though pricing wise with the tacos not havinganything with them, and not being very full, could have been included with the meal, which is traditional in many Mexicanrestaurants. Speaking of which, it was disappointing not to be able to find either horchata or agua fresca to drink. It seemslike you would have at least one traditional drink to go with the traditional food you are serving. Even my soda arrived in aglass not completely full, though they do offer free refills. If I happen to find myself in the neighborhood, I might stop byagain. But I am not likely to go out of my way to choose this place. The main reason being I can spend less money and have beansand rice included with my meal. Save the cost of chips paying only for the queso if I want to add it and receive generouslyfilled tacos. Expensive Mediocre Tacos. The burritos are fine. But the tacos are so expensive for how gross they are. The carna asada tacos... were cold, and bland. The chicken tacos were so soggy. And it took about 35 minutes to get our food with only a few people inthe restaurant. Los Margs across the street has thier tacos cheaper and way better. The waiter was very kind and friendly. Sono complaints on him at all. But I would save your money and go almost anywhere else. Read more
This places is great! I can?t believe it?s not busier. Chili cheese fries are bomb. All the tacos are great and I have tried the... boneless wings with the sweet siracha sauce. They are awesome. Coke beer too! Read more
I've been here a couple of times now and I think it's amazing food. It's not super authentic (or at least what I consider... authentic) but the food is good! I think my only complaint is that they charge $2.00 for extra salsa. They literally send youa two ounce cup of salsa - how is that worth $2?? Same with the $2 up charge for sour cream. When you're using frozenpre-shredded potatoes in the Colorado burrito - I think you're saving enough money to charge less for salsa and sour cream. Read more
