If you are looking to book a cute, vintage ice cream truck for your event, look no further. Reasons To Be Cheerful has a... wonderful ice cream truck called the Chillwagon, and it was a huge hit at our wedding. The owner, Phil, was wonderful and greatto work with. Our guests loved them and I feel like the ice cream truck pulling up on the lawn of our venue at the end of dinnerwas a moment our guests will really remember! The ice cream is delicious, too. One of the many reasons I'm glad the pandemic is in the rear-view mirror is I can get out to some of my favorite ice cream... places. And if you're like me and you enjoy home-made ice cream (in unique flavors), you'll want to make a trip to Concord andstop at Reasons to Be Cheerful. I'm a big fan of the Coffee Heath, and the Maple is wonderful, but there's always something newto try. Friendly servers, and you can take out or eat in-- there's a charming little dining area in the rear; it has a statue ofa cow (of course), and art-work on the walls. There's never a bad time for an ice cream, and I really enjoy having that icecream at Reasons to Be Cheerful. Read more

We got the So Simple ice cream cake for a birthday. It is SO DELICIOUS. I cannot stop eating it! The ice cream is smooth and... creamy, and the fudge and jimmies filling and topping are the perfect amount to complement the ice cream without making the cakeinto a sundae. Meh. tl;dr The service was good but the manager is bad at making room for customers and the recipe needs to tone down the sugar... and the portion sizes are annoyingly large. We went in as a full family unit to an empty store on a Saturday afternoon in 80degree heat. If this was a great ice cream place, it should have been busy. We ordered which was a pleasant experience. Thegirl behind the counter was quick and helpful. I got the salted caramel flavor and it was too sweet. Our daughter commentedthat her lime flavor was too sweet. The other daughter likes things as sweet as possible; she seemed pleased. There was nochild size and "one scoop" is actually an equivalent to four scoops so I got a small (called "one scoop", here) and it was morethan I wanted. As we were served, each child found their way to a table that only fit the two of them. There were three tables:1. An empty 2 top 2. An empty child table that had four toddler size chairs 3. A 4 top which was occupied by an abandonedlaptop. I asked "whose laptop is that?" To the girl behind the counter. "That's our manager's." Business does not seem goodenough to occupy the only table large enough to accommodate our family with only a laptop. JUSSAYIN My partner is over 6 feettall so it was funny when he sat at the toddler table, asking us all to join. I joined in the tiny plastic chair but the teenswere "too cool" to be goofy with us.
