We purchased the family meal - whole chicken with three sides. Including the four drinks, I paid under $35 and we left very... satisfied. The chicken was marinated well and was very juicy. The Peruvian fried rice was very flavorful. The sweet potato frieswere crispy. The yellow sauce was a bit spicier than at other locations but I still enjoyed it. I went to Viva Chicken for the first time (been wanting to try it for a while!) the other day and I'm pleasantly surprised. I... got the half chicken so I could try both white and dark meat. Both were super juicy and the skin was so flavorful. I hadcilantro lime rice and plantains. The plantains were so yummy and crispy on the edges and soft and sweet inside. The rice was abit dry but I put the medium sauce on it and it was delicious. The sauce they make in different heat levels is so good. It's agreen sauce kinda chimi style. I could drink it it's so good. The chicken with the sauce is so good. I got a the orange specialjuice, Mara Cuya, and I wish I had it every day. They let you sample the juices when you're ordering. I got the churro fordessert and one order came with 2 churros. The best, most authentic churros ever. SO yummy. My boyfriend got a tres leches cakeslice and it was also very delicious. The atmosphere is great. You order and pay at the register and they give you a number todisplay at your table. Drinks are self serve unless you got a special juice.
