This was our 1st visit. I was not impressed. I got the rib dinner. The ribs where so tough I could hardly bite them off the... bone. If you can't do ribs right you can't call yourself a BBQ place. Best part of the whole meal was the sweet tea. Nothingsee here won't be back. Read more
My first visit here my son-in-law loves this place went on Saturday night at 6: 30 was busy well worth the wait. Approximate 40... seats inside so plan on a little wait and it's worth it which again it was Saturday night I had the Cajun sausage sandwich withgumbo special wife had the fried shrimp basket and my son-in-law got Gator tacos everybody was happy no food left behind. We went here for the first time today for a birthday lunch. EVERYTHING we ate was delicious. The cajun bread was so good I got... another order to take home. Get the big order of it cause it was sooo good. The catfish was cooked to perfection along withjalapeno hush puppies. I think the tarter sauce was homemade because I liked it very much and I don't usually eat it. The gatortacos and brisket burgers were delicious. Everything was fresh and the meat was tender. They told us they have music at nightand I am looking forward to going back for this as well as more food. I highly recommend this restaurant. Open Thursdaysthrough Saturdays only so make plans. The server was very nice and kept our drinks full with awesome sweet tea. Homemade desertswere available but had no room so didn't get to try. Great experience. Read more

This was my first time eating here after planning to for a while. I heard it was expensive from family, but I discovered the... decor and staff was worth the expense. I ordered my usual country dinner with fries, okra, and chicken. There ended up not beingfried chicken available, but instead I was given two piles of meat, one of pulled chicken and one of briscuit. Both weredelicious. The steak fries and okra were amazing as well. It was supposed to come with Texas toast, but I was so amazed by thepresentation and friendliness of the staff that I completely forgot to mention it. The owner is also a nice guy. I'd know himlong before I visited, but I never expected him to go around the room greeting everyone. All around, it was a deliciousrestaurant. I'm also thankful in more way that they know simply because the good experience here is more motivation to beginsaving my money in the long run to be able to visit more in the future. Read more
