Very 50s vibe from music and decor. The food was good and filling. They came around offering more fries and a sample of their... soft serve ice cream. Read more
We got the double burgers with the works. The burgers are thin, so two would give you a decent size burger. The meat wasnt... really seasoned, so you need the works to add flavor. The fries were real be potatoes, just abit salty. The lemonade was more ofa "Country Time" lemonade drink mix. If you like Delmonte ketchup, you will like their Red Gold ketchup. Read more
Traveling I40 and we?ve seen the billboard for David?s for years. Today we made the best decision and stopped for lunch at... David?s. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant atmosphere gives an updated 80s vibe which was fun. Our waiter,Michael came over to bring us fries (yes fries as a complimentary appetizer)!!!! Our food came and we were so excited to tryeverything we didn?t get pictures but believe me. Everything was seasoned well and tasted amazing. Kelsey stopped by our tableto give us a history of the restaurant and talk about their USDA ground beef, very friendly young lady. Michael surprised uswith samples of their ice cream which was such a nice delight of customer service. In recent years it seems that poor service at many food establishments has become more common, so my recent experience at the... David?s Burgers on Amity Rd was a pleasant surprise. I?ve eaten here before so I already knew that their food was outstanding.Even though I walked in ten minutes before their closing time, every employee I came in contact with was eager to serve me andacted pleased that I came in. They did not rush me and brought me all the fries I could eat even though they were trying toclose down and clean up the place. David?s has the best burgers & fries and outstanding customer service. I've seen the signs but now I get it. The food is unlike anything else around, but it is the service that sets David's apart. It... favors a Five Guys burger but the meals are a little more affordable, about $10 for a burger, unlimited fries, drink and a smallice cream. In a world where decent customer service is becoming nearly impossible to find, it was so refreshing to be treatedwith prepandemic like kindness. To order food and not feel like I was bothering the workers or needed to apologize for askingthem to hold the onions was refreshing. After we left, I realized I had forgotten my phone. The manager of the store offered toovernight it to me. Who does that? Every employee from the Friday lunch crew had a great attitude, laughing and cutting up withus. The food was super fast and oh my god, the cheeseburger...... This is a horribly written review, but it's because onecannot quite put their finger on what makes David's such a great place to eat.
